The human touch involved in Massage Therapy has a healing effect that in not explainable but can only be experienced.

Registered Massage Therapists (RMT’s) in Ontario are regulated by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and must be licensed by the Regulated Health Professionals Act, the same act governing medical doctors, nurses and physiotherapists. Registered Massage Therapists abide by a strict code of ethics and standards of practice set out by the college.

We offer top quality hands-on therapy delivered in a warm, nurturing and professional manner. We offer massage therapy six days a week for your convenience. In order to avoid disappointment, please try to schedule your appointment in advance as the schedule fills up very quickly. We would be happy to place you on our cancellation list if we cannot accommodate you at your preferred time. For our fee schedule including student and senior rates, please call our clinic and we would be happy to answer any questions that you have.

The clinic requires 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment to avoid being charged your full appointment fee.

Massage Therapy is not covered by OHIP, however most patients have it covered through their extended health care plans.

You do not need a physician’s referral to see a RMT, however you may need one for your insurance company to ensure reimbursement. Call your extended health care provider to find out.

What to Expect:

Your first Massage Therapy session will consist of a thorough evaluation by the RMT including medical history and patient complaints. You will be covered on the massage table by linens and only the parts being massaged will in undraped. The patient will be asked to give specific feedback during the treatment in regards to pressure and comfort levels, for example, room temperature and music levels.

In some cases, Massage Therapy may not be appropriate. Certain circulatory ailments, infectious diseases/conditions, certain forms of cancers, cardiac problems, skin conditions and inflamed conditions may be worsened by Massage Therapy, so be sure to consult your physician before initiating massage treatment.
